Our Framework
More Than a Program
At Six Summers Ago, we believe every young person deserves the opportunity to feel seen, heard, valued, and capable.
Young people today are navigating increasing social isolation, mental health challenges, online influence, disengagement from education, and a lack of safe spaces where they can simply be themselves.
Traditional engagement models don't connect with every young person.
That's why Six Summers Ago was created: to provide creative, relationship-led experiences that meet young people where they are, helping them discover confidence, connection, and the belief that they're capable of more than they realise.

What We Believe

We believe every young person has strengths, talents, and potential waiting to be discovered.
Our role isn't to tell young people who they should become; it's to create safe, creative, and meaningful opportunities for them to discover it for themselves.
Confidence doesn't come from being told who you are. It comes from discovering it for yourself.
